Sights for your Holiday at Plan de Corones

Everywhere in the surroundings of our hotel in Falzes you can discover numerous interesting sights. In the immediate vicinity you'll find the culture town of Brunico with a historic old town centre, picturesque architecture and many churches, which are worth a visit. Brunico Castle, a former bishop's castle towering over the town, provides a special highlight. Since summer 2011 the Messner Mountain Museum RIPA with exhibitions of the mountain population on earth is located in the castle.

Another popular excursion destination in the vicinity of Plan de Corones are the pyramids in Perca, natural pillars carrying a top-stone to protect them from rain. The pyramids developed from landslides and corrosion.  You can get informed about the geological and natural characteristics of Val Pusteria in various Nature Park Houses in the Fanes-Senes-Braies, Vedrette di Ries-Aurina and Sesto Dolomites Nature Parks.
