A charming hotel in Val Pusteria

I’m Helga Peintner. My husband, Hans, and I have been running the Green Lake Hotel Weiher in the Puster Valley for many years now. Our kids, Andreas, Markus and Manuela have also been involved in hospitality from a very early age. All three have wanted to help since they were very young, each in the area they liked the most. Manuela was already serving our guests in the dining room at the age of 8, and never failed to bring a smile to their faces, while Markus is an enthusiastic chef and has already worked in kitchens across the world.

Andreas, on the other hand, loves conjuring up cocktails and fulfilling our guests’ every wish at the bar. Nowadays, Manuela, our little ray of sunshine, can be found greeting guests at reception or in the dining room. You’ll meet Hans there, too, but he can also often be found elsewhere in the hotel, such as in the dining hall or in the garden – he always seems to be in the place he’s needed the most! And me? I’m a passionate nature enthusiast and herbalist, lovingly tending to our hotel’s herb garden. In 2015, we decided, as a family, to break new ground and renovate the Green Lake Hotel Weiher, making it what it is today… a top-class spa hotel in the Puster Valley – furnished with love and attention to detail!
